# ToCSS > ToCSS is a lightweight browser runtime that reads CSS-like declarations from a `tocss` HTML attribute and generates scoped CSS. The current stable release is 0.1.0 and is licensed under MIT. Use `@tocss/vanilla` for browser projects. Register either `@tocss/default` or `@tocss/tailwind` before calling `init()` when using npm. The standalone browser bundles register their included preset automatically. ToCSS is a JavaScript runtime, not a stylesheet. Do not use `npm install tocss`; use the scoped `@tocss/*` packages. Official framework adapters are not available yet. `@keyframes` is not supported yet. ## Documentation - [Installation](https://tocss.com/docs/installation/): Browser CDN, npm installation, package selection, and first example. - [Syntax](https://tocss.com/docs/syntax/): Declarations, aliases, presets, selectors, responsive blocks, dark mode, colors, and invalid input. - [API and configuration](https://tocss.com/docs/configuration/): Runtime API, configuration fields, themes, colors, aliases, presets, screens, and debugging. - [Complete AI documentation](https://tocss.com/llms-full.txt): Complete installation, API, syntax, preset, and limitation reference in one Markdown document. ## Packages - [@tocss/vanilla](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@tocss/vanilla): Browser runtime and standalone bundles. - [@tocss/default](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@tocss/default): Default aliases, colors, screens, and preset tokens. - [@tocss/tailwind](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@tocss/tailwind): Tailwind-style aliases, colors, screens, and preset tokens; not full Tailwind CSS compatibility. - [@tocss/core](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@tocss/core): Framework-neutral parser, rule engine, colors, and TypeScript types. ## Optional - [GitHub repository](https://github.com/tiennguyenvan/tocss): Source code, issues, and MIT license. - [ToCSS homepage](https://tocss.com/): Product homepage and documentation entry point.
